Stephieface asked about the blankets that we are making. We are making them in 6 inch squares out acrylic or synthetic materials. We want to make them as easy to care for as possible. There is no set pattern they can be as plain or as complicated as you like.
We are going to be stitching them together so we are asking for no really strange colors. Neon Green Hot pink that sort of thing. Other than that any other type of color is just fine.
I still have to work out a few details, a drop off point and that type of thing. If any one else had any type of contest suggestions I would like to hear them.

Truly, I don't need any kind of prize- but if you want prize ideas I'd say a skein of Red Heart in the correct clown colorway would be great! (Because I can't get it where I live.) Or a tote bag with the Natural Stitches logo or some other LYS or local knitting group would be great fun to have.
If you want 6 inch squares, I'm happy to knit up a few, but are crocheters welcome to join too? I just learned how to crochet and would love to practice before I forget how again!
