Happy Christmas and Kittens

I loverly Christmas Eve has been had thus far. I have managed to put exactly one inch on a sweater while under constant assault from a small army of cat. I wonder how many cats would actually constitute a small army. Well there are four cats and five kittens. They all like the yarn. Well I suppose that is something in the DNA of Cats.

Anyway this is mommy and her kitten under a chair. Well it is fairly obvious what is going on here. The Wife is away visiting her family and she asked me to put up some pictures of the kittens. Well the little critter squirm around and very few of the pictures are clear. I suppose if i were using a better camera they would some out better.

Also it appear that the primary purpose for blog is also to put pictures of one's cat on the internet. So here are cat pictures. I suppose that my blog does not have as many cat pictures as it could.

The mother is named Cuckie. She was given to me by a couple of the kids in the Clown Brigade. They named her and insist that is how you spell Cookie. The babies do not have names. There are five of them and they are cute as you would expect kittens to be. Anyway These are four week old kitten and they are just starting to crawl around and steal my yarn. So eventually these little yarn snatcher are going to need a home. If you live in Pittsburgh and would like a fur ball leave a comment.

Dive Bombing Cat

I have an office in the basement of my house. It is the place that i work on my books and various other writing projects. Occasionally it the place that I knit or do something else along those lines. It is a comfortable place with a big comfy couch a television and a refrigerator.

The only thing that is a bit annoying as that my cat thinks that she can type. Perhaps she like the keyboard or the sound it makes. Either way when I am not here she lays on it or sits next to it and punches keys with her little paw. If I am not in the office she will be in her typing away at something that she is working on. She never saves so I do not know what she is writing. Perhaps she has her own little kitty cat flash drive that she saves her work on. I wonder if her flash drive is a Hello Kitty Flash Drive. I would find that very entertaining if that were the case. I have not seen one of those before. Still I am sure there is such a thing as the hello kitty flash drive.

The thing that bothers me in all of this is that I do not know how she get into the basement. At one point she was crawling through the wall and jumping out between two beams over me desk. This was very annoying because she would land right in my keyboard sometimes while I was typing on it. Needless to say I sealed up that hole. Then I found another hole she was something through and sealed that one up. I still have not been able to prevent her from getting into my basement office. Well at least she is not dive bombing my desk anymore. I suppose that is a good thing.

Random Cat thing

Just some more randomness. My cat just dragged off one of my note books. The cat weighs three pounds and the note book weighs seven ounces. So that is a fairly heavy thing for a cat to drag off.

I am not sure what anyone would care about this. It is something that happened I thought I should share.

Personal Clown Scarf &Kittens

Sergeant Kisielnicki is adding some trim to his triple clown scarf. I should probably tell him he needs to come up with a name for his pattern. He made up the design for the scarf himself. So he gets to name it. This is exciting stuff if you are a clown that knits

This is two of the kittens. A couple of the folks from the Corps wanted to see pictures of the kittens. Here are a couple pictures.

This one is mostly black and I think the cutest of the kitties

These are a couple of the kitties hiding behind their mother.

Here they are with their mom.

Hello Kitty

It is 3:30 AM my cat is looking at me like I should be asleep. By the way this is Marska. You can tell because you have she has two eyes.

Look at me taking a shot at the cat. Anyway eleven Chapter of the Salvation Navy have been typed in.

More Hats More Cats

A fun and relatively uneventful day was had. Some knitting on various things was done. Some writing was done. And yet another clown practice was had. Actually we are up to four a week now.Tonight it was the Writing Committee. We are just about done with section 1 and section 3 is more than half way through. We will be taking the rest of the pictures for section 3 this week end.

This is another clown hat that I am working on. We currently have two brand new apprentices and three Cadets. While you are working on your persona it is foolish to purchase a wig. So in the mean time you get a super stylish clown hat. This one is a child size on five and half mm needles. It is made from Red Heart Hockey Pockey and Darice fun fur type thing. This thing is also going to get some pom pom as throw back to the hat work by traditional white face type clowns. I am going to put a cork screw type stripe around the hat with the Darice.

With the knitting group latter today and the amount of time I have to spend on the bus I should be able to knock out most of this hat.

Mariska spent her time lurking in the rafters at the writing practice. It is always great fund wondering is a cat is going to attack you from the ceiling. Well it is back to me yellow clown hat. Have fun out there and keep your stick on the ice.
